On the quiet banks of the Mahanadi, where forests breathe and stones whisper stories of monks, kings, and seekers, lies Sirpur — once a flourishing center of art, architecture, and spiritual learning. Amidst its ruins and wilderness, we gathered for the Sripura Art Festival.

For three days, 51 artists, storytellers, and creators came together — not to perform, but to share, to listen, to walk, and to create in communion with each other, the land, and its people.

The festival also marked the beginning of our sacred space - 'Shreepoorna Oneness Center'

Here's a Glimpse of the festival through photos

"Come come whoever you are..artists, seeker or a pilgrim of life", read the invitation, and many responded intuitively, to come from near and far off places. It was a festival of heartists, a three day retreat with an intention to connect with self, soil and society.

Held in the sacred and newly found Shreepoorna Oneness Center, surrounded by 13 sacred Mahua trees, in the middle of a forest, few kilometers away from Sripur main town.

In the opening circle we started with invocation of 5 elements prayer, bowing down to newly installed peace pole and then taking a gratitude walk through the seven stations in the sacred grove. A local shaman Dashrath ji did a small ceremony to honor the forest and local goddess Chanda Dai, and in the center of Gangama Mandal we planted Krishna Vad tree.

With the question what brings us here ? we opened our heart circle. second half of the day was a pilgrimage to Sirpur and a visit to a very ancient shiva temple.
