🌿 Spirit of Oneness Retreat - the experience of Marilyn Hamilton written as an overview

A Living Field of Love-in-Action

Villa Unspunnen, Interlaken · August 25–29, 2025

There are moments when a gathering becomes more than a retreat. More than a program. More even than a shared intention. The Spirit of Oneness Retreat, held in the ancient valley of Interlaken and cradled by the mountains surrounding Villa Unspunnen, was one such moment — a living field where human hearts, planetary intelligence, and an emergent future

met each other directly. Thirty-three participants from many countries, disciplines, cultures, and spiritual lineages came together — not to be taught about Oneness, but to experience it as a lived reality.

🌍 Why This Gathering Mattered

We are living in a time when old systems are cracking, and new ones are not yet fully formed. The retreat arose from a shared sensing: that something essential is trying to be born through humanity now, and that it requires spaces of deep listening, courage, humility, and love-in-action. Co-facilitated by Annette Kaiser, Dr. Jude Currivan, and Anne-Marie Voorhoeve, the retreat invited participants into a multi-dimensional journey — weaving science and spirit, embodiment and cosmology, silence and laughter, grief and joy.

The guiding question was not “What should we do?” It was “What wants to emerge through us — now?”

🔥 Three Movements of the Journey

The retreat unfolded through three archetypal movements: Instigation – Inner-Tuition – Integration These were not stages on an agenda, but living currents that shaped each day.

Instigation opened the field through stories of essence — moments when participants touched their deepest truth, their longing for unity, their remembrance of belonging to Earth, to life, to love itself.

Inner-Tuition invited the group into the mystery of Not Knowing — through

poetry, movement, song, ritual, systemic constellations, and creative co-inquiry. Integration grounded these experiences into the body, relationships, and future action — through dance, Qi Gong, nature immersion, laughter, and shared reflection. What emerged was not consensus, but coherence.

🧵 The Golden Thread

A central metaphor — and lived experience — of the retreat was the Golden Thread.

Through a powerful Constellating for the Collective process, the group explored the question: “What does the Knowing Field want us to know about an emergent Golden Thread?” What unfolded was a visceral experience of Dynamic Love — love not as sentiment, but as an organising force of life itself. Love-in-Action was revealed as humanity’s role within a much larger planetary and cosmic choreography. Participants spoke of birth, completion, weaving, chaos as creative potential, and Gaia herself as an intelligent, living presence. Dolphins, whales, ancestral lineages, future generations, and unseen realms all seemed to take their place in the field. Many described a shared recognition: We are not separate threads trying to connect. We are already woven — remembering how to move together.

💃 Embodiment, Joy, and Sacred Play

This was not a solemn gathering.

There was dancing — ecstatic, awkward, joyful.

There was laughter — deep, belly-shaking laughter.

There was silence — spacious, nourishing silence.

There was music, poetry, spontaneous ritual, and a legendary gong ceremony that

shook bodies awake and dissolved boundaries. Again and again, a question echoed through the field:

What if it’s easy?

What if unity is not something we must struggle toward — but something we relax

into?

🌱 What Changed

By the final day, participants spoke not of answers, but of shifts:

a softened nervous system

a renewed trust in life

a felt sense of belonging

courage to live from the heart

commitment to serve life where they are

Some named it coming home.

Others called it remembering.

Many said simply: “I am changed.”

Connections seeded during the retreat continue through shared practices, collaborations, and a Daily Golden Thread meditation — extending the field far beyond the Swiss Alps.

🌈 Memory, Meaning, Momentum

The Spirit of Oneness Retreat left behind more than memories.

Memory — held in stories, art, photos, gestures, and friendships

Meaning — found in reflection, re-orientation, and renewed purpose

Momentum — alive in ongoing relationships, projects, and planetary service

Together, these form a living legacy — not owned by any one person or organisation, but carried collectively.

🌎 A Quiet Invitation

This retreat was never meant to be an end.

It was a threshold.

An invitation to live differently.

To love differently.

To trust the intelligence of life moving through us.

As one participant said:

“We are all Golden Threads now — weaving the future together.

And perhaps that is the quiet work before us all.
