Rashmi – which means a ray of light, is a documentary I made during my film school days in California in 2002. A story of a nude artist, she explores sexuality and body image and how we see our selves and each other. As she shares about her guru Shivananda and her journey to follow her dreams, I couldn’t help but deeply admire her and be inspired again and again. I found this film after many years in my archives and wanted to share it again as it reminds me to let go, to be free and to love myself in totality.
